This financial program was designed specifically to help Midlands teens, ages 13-18, expand their knowledge of money management and learn the skills that lead to financial independence and well-being.
This nationally acclaimed, comprehensive prevention program helps youth, ages 6-9, with resistance skills from negative influences. The program provides engaging, interactive, small-group activities that increase participants’ peer and adult support, enhance life skills, build resiliency and strengthen leadership skills.
Passport to Manhood
Passport to Manhood consists of 14 sessions, each of which concentrates on a specific aspect of manhood through highly interactive activities. Each participant receives his own “passport” to underscore the notion that he is on a personal journey to maturity and growth. This is a targeted effort to engage young boys, ages 10-12, in discussions and activities that reinforce positive behavior.
Smart Girls is a prevention and self-esteem enhancement program designed to meet the needs of girls, ages 9-12. With dynamic sessions, participatory activities, field trips and mentoring with adult women, girls explore their own and societal attitudes and values as they build skills for eating right, staying physically fit, getting good health care and developing positive relationships.
Cavity Free Zone
Participants learn behavior and habits that foster healthy oral hygiene that will result in healthy, happy smiles for all. Members will learn healthy brushing and flossing habits, go on field trips to the dentist, learn about healthy eating habits and the effects of negative behavior, such as use of alcohol and tobacco.
